WellCare
is pleased to announce the arrival of the WellCare Learning System. The WellCare Learning System is an on-line training
course that will give agents the necessary tools and information to successfully market WellCare’s Coordinated Care
products. The WellCare Learning System consists of five learning modules:
Module 1
- Welcome to WellCare HMO
Module 2
- Medicare Basics
Module 3
- Meet Our Members
Module 4
- WellCare Plan and Services
Module 5
- Compliance and Ethical Sales practices
After each
module an agent will take a short non-scored quiz. Once an agent has completed Modules 1 through 4, the agent will take
a scored 50 question test. A score of 90% or better is required. After completing Module 5 the agent will take
another scored test of 40 questions. A score of 90% or better is required. Once an agent passes both scored tests,
the agent will be qualified to attend in person classroom training in their local market. An agent has three tries to
pass each test. A waiting period of 24 hours is required between each test attempt.
Upon successful
completion of on-line training the agent will be notified of the next in person classroom training in their market.
A classroom test will be given at the in person training. Once an agent passes the classroom test and agent writing
number will be sent to them within two to three working days.
To get started an agent must go to wellcare.intelladon.com and self register.

Once
registered an agent can begin the on-line training. There are instructions on-line if an agent should encounter problems.
Since the WellCare Learning System uses flash player the agent will have to allow pop ups on their computers.
Remember
to receive a writing number to market WellCare Coordinated Care products an agent must:
- Pass licensure, sanction, and background check
- Pass on-line training modules 1 through 5
- Attend classroom training and pass classroom test
Agents must
have all their paperwork turned in to WellCare, pass their background check, and successfully complete on-line training prior
to attending classroom training.
